Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-focused, helping you build on your strengths, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies to create a healthier, more fulfilling life.
I specialize in working with adults and adolescents (ages 16 and older) experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, addiction, emotional challenges, and dual diagnoses. I work with people who feel stuck and are ready for change. Whether you’re facing stress, relationship issues, past hurts, or life transitions, I’m here to help you navigate what feels overwhelming. I’ve provided counseling to adults, youth, and couples in both community mental health and private practice. I’m licensed in Georgia and Florida and bring over 20 years of experience to our work together.
My journey started with volunteering in the Guidance Counselor's office at my high school. In this setting, my emotional intelligence and level of empathy began to grow. I decided to study Psychology to understand how the mind works, then studied Social Work to understand how that mind works when affected by events in the environment. I have worked extensively with children/ students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/ AIDS, the elderly, Veterans, Immigrants, couples and families. I accept clients no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background. I utilize a strength- based approach for my clients as I believe we all have the ability to take control of our own lives.
