Today, I use that experience—along with my formal clinical training—to support adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or worn down by life.

Welcome! My name is Emily, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh, following my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. I have experience working with individuals throughout the lifespan and I believe therapy is most effective when it feels supportive, collaborative, and grounded in trust.

A little bit about my style – I am laid back, and create a non-judgmental environment, that is safe, and supportive. My approach is a mosaic of techniques to help people to focus on their strengths, developing skills to manage life challenges and get unstuck.

Relocation, career change, relationship struggles, childhood experiences, trauma, codependency, grief and loss, and addiction are sometimes slow to develop or occur unexpectedly. My style utilizes evidenced based techniques, creativity, mindfulness, and media to spark discussion.
