I work with adults and adolescents who are carrying burdens they're ready to put down, whether that's trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles, or the weight of a life that feels out of balance. In our work together, I help them build real, practical skills for lasting change using evidence-based approaches tailored to their unique story. Healing isn't linear, but with the right support, it is absolutely possible.
You don't have to keep carrying what feels heavy alone. With over 15 years working across inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings, I specialize in helping people navigate grief, substance use, anxiety, depression, and the patterns that are hardest to break. I work with individuals ready to release what's weighing them down: relationship challenges, life transitions, boundary setting, and more. My approach centers on building real trust first, then weaving in the techniques that fit each person. If any of this sounds like where you are, I'd love to hear what brings you here.
Hi, I’m Matthew Mulock, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping people heal, grow, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and fulfilling. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and my master’s degree in Social Work, with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice, from Saint Leo University. I am originally from Alaska, but Florida has been my home for the past 20 years. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and everyday stressors. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself, explore what you are going through, and begin building the tools you need to move forward with confidence.
I’m a bilingual psychotherapist with 20 years of experience working in correctional health, outpatient mental health, and private practice. I work with youth, adolescents, and adults, offering therapy and evaluations in both English and Spanish. Through my practice, MLC Mental Services, I provide confidential in-person and virtual care and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including immigrants, first responders, and those working in health and human services.
