I am a licensed mental health counselor with a combined seven years of experience in the mental health field (including three years of clinical supervisory experience), where I have been providing care to clients in multiple agencies throughout the state of Florida, utilizing clinical models to improve patient care and drive positive clinical outcomes. I have worked with diverse client populations and multiple diagnoses (anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorders, etc.) throughout the years, including serving young children through older adults.

I’m Dr. Daniela De Medeiros, a clinical psychologist in Miami with over a decade of experience working with teens and adults from all walks of life. I work with people navigating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, identity, family conflict, relationship struggles, women’s issues, and the emotional weight of chronic illness and chronic pain.

I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and a master’s in mental health counseling, with specialized training in health psychology. I’m also trilingual and conduct sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Most people who find me are exhausted, a little unsure therapy will even help, and carrying more than they let anyone see. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), wife, and mother, I understand that life can be both rewarding and challenging. Through my own life experiences, I have gained insight into the complexities of relationships, family responsibilities, career demands, and personal growth. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples facing concerns such as anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and easy to talk to. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful growth and healing while feeling supported every step of the way.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience providing individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and adults. My clinical background includes work with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, foster care youth, and individual navigating high-stress life transitions.

As a bilingual therapist (English and Haitian Creole), I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families within multicultural communities where mental health may be misunderstood or stigmatized. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow.
