My name is Jasmine Cepeda, LCSW. With over 13 years of clinical experience, my therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in helping folks process difficult transitions and painful emotions. Whether you're carrying unresolved wounds from the past, feeling distressed by your current relationships, or experiencing social or existential dread, I’m here to help you make sense of your experience.
My therapeutic practice focuses on helping people understand and work with emotional and relational patterns that continue to show up in present life. In therapy, we work with what is happening in the present moment, emotionally, physically, relationally, and environmentally, so these patterns can begin to shift into a more grounded & integrated sense of self.
Hello, I'm Emily - I'm happy you're here! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through some of life’s most challenging moments. In addition to my clinical work, I serve as a school therapist, supporting students with IEPs as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and social challenges within the school setting. For 13 years, I worked in hospitals as a Certified Child Life Specialist, walking alongside children and families as they navigated chronic illness, medical trauma, and end-of-life experiences.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have been living in Colorado since 2005. I have a Master's of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy. I specialize in working with children, teens, and young adults who have experienced trauma, struggle with anxiety and/or depression symptoms, grief, self-esteem, and relationship issues.
My journey towards therapy started in the forests on the Pacific Crest Trail and in the San Juan Mountains as a Wilderness Therapy Guide. I was entranced by people's stories that landed them on the trail, as well as by their takes on life. I decided to get my Master's in Counseling at Adam's State University so that I could professionally hear people's stories. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I have experience working with families and individuals ages 12+. I am passionate about helping people manage chronic stress that seems inevitable in the current world we live in.
I began this journey just seeking to learn about psychology and the nature of human behavior. The more I learned, the more I became fascinated with how resilient humans are in the face of significant challenges. However, what I found was that people will continue to live with underlying pain, because of the stigma previously put on people seeking help with mental health and trauma issues. I found that people created their own ways of coping and it often involved creating more harm. I knew at this time that I wanted to help people begin to face tough emotions and move toward healing the emotional pain.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1991 and a Master of Science Degree in General Psychology in 1993 from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS. I later went back for another Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Avila University in Kansas City, MO in 2014.
I have worked in the areas of domestic violence, at-risk youth, at-risk families, foster and adoption, and addiction. I specialize in working with trauma and addiction.
Hello, I'm Liz! I have over 5 years of experience working inpatient, outpatient, and varying levels of severity. I enjoy getting to know people and be an extra ear to their troubles. I can be sarcastic at times, and consider myself a person talking to people!
I have spent more than 20 years helping adults and couples make sense of suffering, navigate change, and find their way toward more connected and meaningful lives. I began practicing psychotherapy in 2002 and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado since 2006. I earned my master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy from Naropa University, where I studied with Dr. Edward Podvoll. Earlier in my career, I worked as a clinician and team supervisor with Windhorse Community Services, supporting people living with significant emotional and psychological challenges.
My path to this work has also been shaped by life beyond the therapy room. I am a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and trained in Military Focused Care as a STAR Behavioral Health Providers Tier Three–trained provider. This gives me a personal understanding of military culture, service, responsibility, loss, identity, and difficult transitions, and informs my work with military-connected adults, first responders, and the people who love them. I am especially drawn to the places where trauma, grief, relationships, caregiving, chronic illness, and major life changes intersect.
Outside of work, I feel most at home skiing, mountain biking, fly fishing, and making things with my hands. These parts of my life keep me grounded in place, relationship, curiosity, and the restorative value of being fully present. They also reflect something central to how I understand therapy: healing is not simply about reducing symptoms. It is about returning more fully to your life, your relationships, and your own basic goodness.
Hi, my name is Austin and welcome to my private practice. As a man who has been deeply affected and healed by counseling, I get the need and role of counseling firsthand. This is why I love counseling: I believe humans were created to share their stories and to work through difficulties together. Counseling is my life’s passion. I am truly honored and delighted to now walk alongside others in dark places toward durable hope and lasting change.
I am personally acquainted with the pain of grief. After the loss of my mother to suicide, I began a counseling journey that revealed many unexplored areas in my life that needed compassion and care. These experiences have brought me face to face with life’s difficulties.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the United States Air Force Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) in Foreign Area Studies (Russia and Eastern Europe). After graduation, I worked as a military aviator and US Air Force Officer in domestic and international locations. I returned to graduate school to pursue a Master’s of Arts in Counseling and a Master’s of Divinity at Covenant Theological Seminary. Over the years, as a counselor, I have worked in a community-based counseling center, as a staff counselor for a church counseling center, and I am now in independent practice, working with men, veterans, couples, and families navigating trauma and PTSD, and the many ups and downs of life.
I have traveled throughout the world during my Air Force career. Seeing the many ways humans experience the world, in all its pain and joy, has only increased my passion to care for others. From working with teenagers and their struggles to individuals seeking hope to the married couple with decades of experience to everyone in between. I love working with people who are struggling and want change.
Credentials and Experience
I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oklahoma and Colorado, a board-certified counselor (NCC), and hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision - which means I don't just practice therapy, I train and supervise other therapists. That clinical depth shapes everything about how I work with clients.
My specialization is neurocounseling: integrating what we know about the brain and nervous system into practical, grounded therapy. I also hold specialized training in telehealth - so working with you virtually isn't a workaround, it's where I do my best work.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, trauma, identity, and the particular kind of exhaustion that comes from holding everything together for too long.
I enjoy helping clients learn skills to help them self-empower and get 'unstuck' from current barriers, and find their way to a more fulfilling and rewarding life.
