Hi there! I have been a therapist for about 25 years (MSW- Western Michigan University). I feel grateful to have such meaningful work and honored to walk alongside such a variety of people on their journeys. My clients have described me as irreverent, honest, and caring.
Many folks come to therapy in times of crisis and others come because they are looking for a neutral place to talk and process a wide range of life experiences including trauma, anxiety/depression, substance concerns, and relationship issues.
In my non-work hours you'd find me spending time with my elementary age kiddo and our dog, listening to live music, swimming in Lake Michigan, or finishing up a good jigsaw puzzle!
As a mental health therapist, I practice in Virginia, New York, Florida, and North Carolina, specializing in grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, anger management, and stress associated with life transitions.
Melinda is a trauma informed, Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia, with the Virginia Board of Counseling. She is also the owner of Triumphant Coaching & Counseling, LLC. Hi. My name is Monique Branch, a licensed therapist that provides a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood and encouraged as you navigate life's challenges. Whether dealing with stress, relationship concerns, personal growth, or difficult seasons in life, my goal is to help you build healthier connections with yourself and others. I believe in meeting you where you are, offering compassion without judgement, and working together to create a meaningful change. To me, you are more than a client, you're a person whose story matters.
I help ambitious adults who feel plateaued or stuck in their work, relationships, healing or personal growth. On the surface life may look solid, yet anxiety lingers, relationships feel strained, or old patterns keep showing up when they try to move forward in their work, relationships, or personal growth. You understand yourself intellectually, but the deeper patterns still feel outside your control. Often the coping strategies that once propelled you forward are now the very things holding you back. You may even know exactly what needs to change, yet still find yourself repeating the same reactions when pressure rises.

She believes therapy is a place to be seen and heard and an opportunity for personal growth. Her approach is holistic and trauma informed, often with a focus on adjustment, interpersonal dynamics, grief, and loss.
She welcomes you to reach out to find a way to live more authentically, forge genuine connections, and prioritize value based goals that bring about positive change in your life.
