Grace has been providing mental health care in Nashville since 2017. She spent much of her early career at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital, where she gained extensive experience caring for individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of mental health concerns. She has since transitioned to outpatient practice, where she provides medication management and compassionate, individualized care to adults across Tennessee through telehealth. Grace takes a warm, collaborative approach to care and believes in taking the time to understand what is really contributing to a person’s symptoms rather than simply treating the diagnosis. She works with clients to find thoughtful, practical treatment options that fit their needs, preferences, and goals.
With over 20 years if experience, I provide counseling to adolescents, adults and senior adults. People from all faiths, cultures and world views are welcome in my practice. Clients come to my office seeking a safe place to process things that may have resulted in feelings of anxiety, depression, stress or relationship difficulties. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced trauma. Counseling is provided from a Biblical worldview and I will pray with clients upon request.
A Master's Degree in Counseling was earned in 2007 from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Additionally I hold certifications in grief counseling and Story Informed Trauma Therapy (SITT). Work with couples and families is informed by doctoral level study and Gottman training to help improve communication in relationships. I have been married for 50 years, am the mother of two adult children and grand mother of seven.
My office provides a handicapped accessible space to process concerns in a home-like atmosphere. Counseling services are available in person and via telehealth.
I’m a person-centered therapist with more than ten years of experience helping people navigate grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship struggles, family conflict, heartbreak, abuse, and trauma. I work with a broad range of clients and bring specialized training in EMDR and trauma-focused care to my practice. I know what it is to struggle, and I believe healing begins when you no longer have to face that struggle alone. My role is to meet you where you are, help you imagine where you want to be, and walk alongside you as you find the courage to get there.
Hi! I'm Corey, owner of Dad Therapist. Since 2019, I have worked with expecting fathers, new dads, NICU parents, and dads who have experienced pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant loss, and infertility. I'm a NICU dad (2020 and 2025 babies) and have three living sons and one stillborn daughter. One of the things I love most about being the “Dad Therapist” is that I get to work with clients I can deeply relate to. My empathy comes from lived experience, not just my professional training. I am a licensed therapist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health professional.
