Hi I'm Madelyn. I'm an LCSW licensed in TN. I believe your body and mind carry stories, and those stories shape how you move through everyday life. My practice is a holistic, and relational. I'll meet you as a real person, not a diagnosis, and we'll figure out what actually helps.
With over 30 years of experience as a therapist, I bring both deep expertise and genuine compassion to every client I work with. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, trauma, alcohol and substance use, and relationship challenges.
I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel truly heard. My approach is rooted in warmth, patience, and a deep respect for your unique story. Whether you're carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling with how you cope day to day, or feeling disconnected in your relationships, you don't have to figure it out alone.
This is a no Judgement Zone!! There are no silly, stupid, dumb, crazy, or ignorant questions. We talk about anything you want and nothing you do not wish to.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience helping clients. I am trained in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Brainspotting, Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.
I've had many varied experiences throughout my life that I believe continue to enrich my counseling practice. I have lived in different countries, have a background in theater, and was a Licensed Massage Therapist for many years. I have worked in an in-patient rehab facility, and have done extensive training in Jungian Sandplay Therapy. I believe everyone's story is unique and important.
I became an LCSW after starting my career as a community-based social worker, supporting individuals and families navigating complex, real-life challenges. That work taught me the value of showing up with presence, respect, and a deep understanding of the systems that impact people’s lives.
My path to becoming a therapist was also shaped by my own experiences with healing and growth. I know what it’s like to do the inner work—to sit with discomfort, learn new tools, and slowly build something stronger from within. That personal insight informs how I show up in the therapy room: with empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
Motherhood has further deepened my approach. It’s taught me about vulnerability, patience, and the ongoing process of becoming—qualities I carry into my work with clients. I believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in safe, supportive relationships, and I’m honored to offer that space to others.
