Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Kelly. Taking this step is big. I provide a down-to-earth, humorous yet warmly empathetic space to spark real change (sweats and pet cameos are welcomed!). I help clients navigate trauma, stress, depression, parenting (and co-parenting), grief, as well as relationship and addiction challenges. Let's work together to find your path forward.
Is your child remarkably sweet, yet intensely difficult? Let's fill up your toolbox and reduce your stress.
You love your spouse but are the end of your rope. Relationships can be healed through accountability and communication to get back "that loving feeling."
I will help you and your loved ones improve communication to find peace and live a happier existence.
Now is the time to find your peace and finally live a happier existence. Act on the motivation you have today and meet me in session. You can conveniently book your session, to the right of my bio.
If you would like to chat briefly prior to booking, I would be happy to. My number is 973-245-9041 ... If not now, when?
My journey began as a deeply personal quest for healing, shaped by significant challenges such as abandonment, neglect, and trauma. Overcoming hardships like poverty, familial substance abuse, and toxic relationships led me to a lifelong struggle with anxiety and feelings of isolation. In my search for relief, I explored countless self-help resources, pursued degrees in psychology, and experimented with therapeutic techniques, yet nothing seemed to offer lasting change.
Everything shifted for me about three years ago when I experienced a transformative moment that inspired the creation of the Blue Lotus Approach. This method has not only helped me heal but has also profoundly impacted my clients, guiding them toward self-awareness and resilience.
If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, a breakup, divorce, low self-esteem, or the effects of an emotionally unhealthy relationship, you don't have to face it alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, build resilience, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I am a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I have experience providing counseling services in private practice, schools, hospitals, assisted living, and correctional settings. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, helping you build on your strengths and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
There comes a time in everyone's life when we need support.
Are you sick and tired of trying to manage this alone? You wake up to another difficult day and wonder how you will cope. Anxiety and dread are becoming your best friends. But they don't have to be. You are here because you are ready for change and I am here because I can help you feel better.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in New Jersey
Searching for therapists in New Jersey starts with finding the right fit for your needs, location, and schedule. Across the state, therapy options can vary between urban, suburban, and rural areas, so it helps to look for a therapist whose listed specialties match what you want support with. That may include anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, or life transitions. You can also look for training in approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, or acceptance and commitment therapy.
Your search may look different in Newark, Jersey City, Trenton, South Jersey, or a smaller New Jersey community. Some people prefer an in-person therapist close to home or work, while others choose virtual sessions for more scheduling options. Beyond specialty, review whether a therapist is accepting new patients, offers appointment times that fit your calendar, and provides a free phone consultation. Reading therapist profiles can help you understand their style, areas of focus, and what a first session may include before you book.
The cost of therapy in New Jersey can vary, and using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you search for licensed therapists who are accepting new patients, see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking, and compare virtual or in-person options in one place. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, and you can enter your insurance details to confirm coverage for your specific plan and location. Browse therapists, review bios, and book directly when you’re ready.
