Are you navigating the complexities of your mental and physical health simultaneously? Dealing with anxiety, depression, or ADHD can be overwhelming, especially when managing chronic pain, insomnia, or another chronic illness. I am a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC) specializing in whole-person, integrated care. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2019, but my path here didn't start in a classroom — it started in Human Resources, where I spent years helping people navigate conflict, communication breakdowns, and the messy dynamics that come with any close relationship. Turns out, those same skills translate pretty directly to couples work.
I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, relationship stress, trauma, substance use, and the pressure of trying to keep everything inside. Many of the people I work with are tired of bottling things up, reacting in ways they regret, or feeling like life has gotten off track. Some of my clients are trying to rebuild after rock bottom, others are learning that sobriety is just the start and want help creating healthier patterns, stronger relationships, and more stability in daily life. If you are ready for a new pattern, start with me.

I believe in meeting my clients where they're at. They are the expert in their own story. I'm just here to listen, help process, maybe challenge, and encourage them in their journey. I went to Newman University for my Master's Degree and went on to get my Clinical License. I have worked with varying populations including teens, adults, geriatrics, the prison population, couples counseling, and Christian Counseling. I enjoy working with people who have been through trauma or grief or have experienced anxiety or depression.
I believe therapy works best when you feel understood, respected, and never judged. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping you develop skills that you can use outside of our sessions rather than simply talking through problems week after week. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps people respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while taking meaningful action toward the life they want to build.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, or overwhelming stress, my goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing and feel supported as we work toward lasting change. I strive to balance compassion with directness, offering both validation and practical strategies to help you move forward in a way that aligns with your values.
