I work with people navigating anxiety, mood changes, attention and neurodevelopmental differences, and life transitions, and I welcome those seeking care that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded. My approach combines traditional psychiatric care with evidence-based holistic support, with attention to symptoms, root causes, and overall well-being. Hi I'm Anuhea! Pronounced Aw-new-hey-uh. I was born and raised in Hawaii and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters of Social Work from Pacific University Oregon. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Utah and Hawaii. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-based approaches to engage with clients.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of Frontier Nursing University, with over 11 years of nursing experience and one year of advanced clinical training across outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, inpatient detoxification, skilled nursing facilities, and telehealth. I provide evidence-based psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, substance use disorders, and psychotic disorders, including complex and co-occurring presentations. My clinical background includes crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, stabilization, and long-term outpatient care focused on functional improvement and sustained recovery.

My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, find your voice, and bring out the parts of you that may have gotten lost along the way. I work with clients ages 5 and up and strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where you can feel safe being yourself. My name is Dr. Barcebal, and I'm a Bay Area based licensed clinical psychologist, specializing in treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, life-transitions, and the psychological effects of living with chronic pain and illness. I'm passionate about supporting individuals in the process of personal growth and development. I utilize a range of treatment methodologies including Trauma Informed Methods, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused methods, Humanistic/Existentialism, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral therapy in her work with adult clients.

I am first generation Filipina-American liberation psychologist with licenses to work with folks residing in California, Washington, and Hawaii. I specialize working with diverse adult individuals seeking to navigate anxiety, life transitions, and heal from pervasive patterns perpetuated from intergenerational trauma. In addition, I have specialty in providing folks with psychedelic harm reduction and integration support, as well as treating individuals who are living with the effects of chronic pain and illness.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have extensive experience providing individual therapy, group facilitation, psychological assessment, and mental health consultation. Furthermore, I have seven years of experience instructing psychology courses at the post-secondary level.
