Bienvenido/Greetings, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW26009) in the state of Florida. I have worked in a variety of settings, including: psychiatric hospitals/centers, schools, crisis response services, and community-based agencies. My clients represent a wide range of ages, genders, sexual orientations, faiths, education levels, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds. In my practice, I focus on supporting individuals through life transitions, processing past trauma, and building awareness of their current strengths and resilience.
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, processing grief, or trying to balance the many responsibilities and expectations placed upon you. You may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, struggling with self-esteem, or uncertain about how to move forward. I work with adults facing anxiety, relationship issues, women's issues, grief and loss, cultural and ethnic identity concerns, stress management challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Many of my clients come to therapy seeking a supportive space where they can better understand themselves, heal from difficult experiences, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Together, we'll explore the challenges that have brought you to therapy, identify your strengths, and develop practical tools that support healing, resilience, and personal growth. My goal is to help you create meaningful change while building a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) with over a decade of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology and have built my career serving individuals navigating trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and high-pressure environments.
In addition to providing therapy, I serve as CEO of Success Brand Behavioral Health, where I lead a team of clinicians and continue to provide direct care. I’ve also worked extensively with youth and families involved in foster care and the juvenile justice system and currently teach graduate counseling students as an adjunct professor.
What this means for you: you’re working with a clinician who understands both complex clinical presentations and real-world stress. I’m structured, experienced, and deeply committed to helping clients move from insight to action.
Most people come for therapy with curiosity and skepticism. My goal is to gain your trust so that you will benefit a great deal from our work together to feel better and whole. I specialize in Trauma Informed Therapy, PTSD, Relationship Issues and Parenting. I offer on line sessions at a mutually convenient time. I work with adolescents, young adults and adults on a variety of issues.
I am an experienced mental health professional specializing in counseling and social-emotional support for adolescents and families. I have worked in a telehealth setting for the past 6 years. My work focuses on anxiety, behavioral challenges, and life transitions using evidence-based, client-centered approaches. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can build skills, gain insight, and grow.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a therapeutic approach and consulting practice grounded in the belief that healing begins when we learn to see ourselves through a clearer, more empowered lens. As a Nigerian-American woman, my heritage deeply informs my understanding of identity, resilience, spirituality, and community. These values shape the way I hold space for clients and guide them toward alignment with their highest embodiment of self.
My professional background includes years of experience in community mental health, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive practice. I have supported women, youth, and BIPOC communities through therapy, support groups, and mental health trainings. I am also influenced by Womanist Psychology, which honors the lived experiences, wisdom, and strength of Black women and communities.
My work integrates Western therapeutic approaches with cultural insight, African wisdom, and a holistic understanding of healing. I believe that our lenses or our “vue" are shaped by our stories, our lineage, and the environments that raised us. Through SelfVue, I help clients shift their perspective, reconnect with their inner strength, and cultivate a grounded sense of self-worth.
Whether through individual therapy, consultation, or organizational support, my goal is to create a warm, intuitive, and culturally attuned space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and supported in their journey toward self-actualization.
I want my clients to know that I value creating a space that feels safe, genuine, and nonjudgmental. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially for people who are used to carrying things on their own or putting others first. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable enough to show up honestly and be themselves without pressure or shame.
A large part of my experience involves working with trauma survivors and individuals navigating anxiety, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. I approach this work with compassion, patience, and understanding, and I believe healing happens through feeling supported, heard, and empowered.
I work with adult individuals 18+. I have over 5 years experience in varied adult issues. This includes sex offender work and work with sexual assault survivors. I have worked with people who are dealing with personality issues, issues with depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, CPTSD and PTSD, as well as grief overall. Grief comes in many shapes and forms. I work with varied issues that are too many to name. I not only have clinical experience but real life experience to back it up.
