I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by work stress, family dynamics, relationship strain, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Many of my clients are trying to manage anxiety, set better boundaries, make time for themselves, and figure out how to move through life changes without feeling constantly drained. Some are navigating divorce, complicated parental relationships, family chaos, caregiving stress, or the emotional impact of raising a child with disabilities or health challenges. Others are trying to build confidence in the workplace, navigate tokenism and racial identity in the workplace, and find steadier footing in friendships, relationships, and everyday life.
I am a psychotherapist with over 10 years experience in clinical care. I have an LCSW and MDIV which allows me to help clients as a whole person while honoring their mental and spiritual wellness. I specialize in the treatment of adult neurodivergent individuals across the spectrums of ADHD, Autism, Bipolar, and BPD. I am trained in adherent intensive DBT as well as EMDR for trauma treatment. These two modalities give me the tools to help Clients control their own minds, increase their resilience, reduce their trauma symptoms, and build lives they are eager and excited to live. I have walked alongside clients in crisis for most of my career and I considerate it an honor to help them through those dark moments. "Crisis" means something different for each individual and I value helping each client in their specific time of need.
Life experiences can affect our mood, mental well-being, physical health and emotional stability. They can shake our confidence and self-esteem. There is hope!
I work with adolescents, adults, Veterans, and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress management, substance use, and emotional conflict.
I have a particular passion for supporting children and families healing from trauma and disrupted attachment. I have extensive experience providing attachment-focused therapy for adopted children, children in foster care, and their caregivers — working alongside families to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, build trust, and address behavioral concerns.
With more than 20 years of experience, I've worked across private practice, community-based mental health, managed care, substance abuse treatment, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. I bring warmth and steady expertise to every stage of the healing process.
My educational background is in both Clinical and Community Psychology. I conceptualize and intervene with clients with an understanding of individual and environmental contributing factors. Additionally, I have significant experiences working with people across the life span and in various settings. I bring this rich experience to my work with clients.
