Nicolas received his B.A. in psychology from James Madison University in Virginia and his M.S. in Counselor Education-Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track, from Florida International University. He spent over 15 years working with youth and families in the Juvenile Justice Systems in Virginia and Florida before entering into private practice. During that time, he occupied positions in both residential and outpatient settings including serving as a clinical supervisor to multiple teams of therapists operating in Miami-Dade and Broward county.

I’m a board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in behavioral health leadership. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. I'm Nicole, a Licensed Professional Counselor with seven years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families in Michigan, and I believe the right support can shift what feels impossible to change on your own.

I specialize in depression and anxiety, life changes, substance use and addiction counseling, marriage and family therapy, and anger management. I also support clients working through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions, working with adolescents through seniors across a wide range of challenges. My goal is to help you recognize your own strengths, build the tools you need, and feel more in control of where your life is going.

Lacy is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that specializes in working with clients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), specifically working with many parents when there is perinatal or postpartum OCD and postpartum depression. Subtypes of OCD that she is most familiar with in addition to perinatal/postpartum OCD are Harm OCD, Contamination OCD, and Sexual Obsessions (such a Pedophilia OCD P-OCD). She has seen many clients with counting and checking related compulsions as well.

• I have been a licensed psychologist since 2007. I have advanced training in eating disorders, PTSD, and suicide prevention. I also have knowledge and a great deal of experience in many different areas, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, etc. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I generally use behavioral, cognitive-behavioral (CBT) and interpersonal modalities in therapy. I was in private practice from 2007-2015 and then worked full-time for the Veterans' Administration (VA) for almost ten years. I have recently transitioned back to private practice. I have been doing only telehealth for the past five years. I must admit that I was skeptical about telehealth at first, but have been absolutely amazed at how effective it is.

Some people experience fear that holds them back. Others are so weighed down by the complexities of life that it feels like there is not enough energy to do anything. Over time, they shift further and further away from the person that they know they can be, but they feel like they’ve already tried everything and feel stuck. If you can resonate, the bravest thing you can do is reach out. We all have core beliefs that define how we see ourselves and the world. These beliefs have huge implications for our emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns. Some are positive and helpful, and others are fear-based and limiting.

I help people gain awareness of their limiting core beliefs so they can actively reframe them, if necessary, into more beneficial and realistic beliefs. Together, we can explore the internal and external factors that impact not only your beliefs, but the feelings, behaviors, and relationships associated with those beliefs.

I collaborate with individuals, couples, and families, and together, we work to accomplish the changes they desperately want to make. Victoria received a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from Purdue University. She also holds a Master of Education with a specialization in Counseling from Liberty University. She has over 30 years of caring in the medical arena.
