Hello! As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for 30 years working with children, adolescents and adults, my passion is helping individuals struggling with life's challenges and trauma. I am EMDR Certified and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Additionally, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavorial Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapy. Treatment areas include depression; anxiety, trauma; childhood and adult abuse, PTSD, grief, ADHD, parenting, relationship challenges and life transitions.
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed psychologist who is passionate about helping women understand themselves more deeply, overcome challenges, and build lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. I provide both therapy and psychological evaluations in a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.
In therapy, I work with women navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem concerns. I believe healing happens when people feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes.
I also provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to help individuals gain clarity about their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Evaluations may address concerns related to ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, personality functioning, cognitive changes, and diagnostic clarification. My goal is not simply to provide answers, but to help you better understand your strengths, challenges, and the most effective path forward.
Whether you are seeking therapy, an evaluation, or both, I strive to create a collaborative experience where you feel respected, understood, and supported every step of the way.
I am compassionate, non-judgmental, and deeply committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard and understood. I believe in meeting you where you are and working collaboratively toward meaningful change. My approach is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented, helping you build insight, coping skills, and confidence at your own pace.
