My priority is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I view care as a partnership and work to empower you to take an active role in your mental health.

Small town living is a special kind of living. I have lived in northeastern Colorado my entire life, except for a short 5 years in Olympia, WA. I understand small town life.
I decided to become a therapist 14 years ago and completed my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University. My passion for helping families and individuals heal led me to specialize in Medical Family Therapy and to also receive advance training in EMDR therapy.
Sometimes life overwhelms us, but it doesn’t have to. I believe we all have the potential to control the way we react to situations we face.
I have over 20 yrs of experience working with lots of different types of issues from life transitions to complex trauma. I enjoy helping clients break free from old beliefs and painful patterns of behavior.
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy views neurological differences- like Autism/ADHD—as natural variations rather than disorders that need to be "fixed." Instead of focusing on making people appear normal, it helps clients understand their unique strengths & challenges, reduce shame, & develop self-advocacy to live authentic lives. I also provide EMDR and am training in psychedelic-assisted therapy.
You are not your disorder or your symptoms. You are a wonderfully complex human with painful wounds and awe-inspiring strengths - much like the rest of us. We can work together to remove the layers of armor, defenses, ineffective coping strategies, and scar tissue to find the person underneath - the person you are meant to be. Together, we can help you thrive with happiness and meaning despite an often difficult world. My practice is sex positive, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I honor all the ways we choose to live our lives. I look forward to meeting you, fellow human.
My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that empowerment, inclusivity, and meaningful connection can heal people. I often explore the question: What do you want from life that you aren't getting? You might want the ability to find peace in a hectic world, or to look inward, think, and reflect. You might crave more meaning and purpose in your daily life, a desire to be in relation to others, or the courage to grow into your true self.
