We all need and place to share our thought and feelings. I hope to create safe place to discuss, explore and expand our feelings and thoughts, along with somebody who open to share the journey to help us change through action when we’re ready.
I provide a compassionate, client-centered approach tailored to your goals, values, and culture. During our first session, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan and begin building a supportive therapeutic relationship. Welcome. I’m Erika and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Francisco. My deep interest in understanding others and my belief in the transformational power of therapy is what drew me into this work. I received my Masters in Counseling Psychology from The University of San Francisco and my passion for serving marginalized populations led me into community mental health. I worked in various positions as a substance use counselor, therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director. I also have experience within a private practice setting. In my free time, I enjoy fostering my relationships with family, friends, and community, working with my hands making stained glass and gardening, going outdoors—especially the ocean, and running.
I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have offices in Santa Monica, Malibu, Ojai, & Ventura. I practice traditional talk therapy as well as Attachment Focused EMDR both in person and remotely. I also practice Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with an emphasis on treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. My practice focuses on trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, addiction & recovery, and relationships. I trained as a KAP therapist at the Ketamine Training Center in San Rafael, California. I am trained by MAPS in MDMA Assisted Psychotherapy. I am certified in Psychedelic Therapy by Fluence.
I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and have over 35 years of experience in clinical practice.
Specialties: Children and Adolescents, Transitional Age Youth, Adults, Self Esteem, Stress and Coping Skills, Trauma and PTSD, Depression and Anxiety, Grief and Life Transitions.
