I’m a board-certified psychiatrist who works with adolescents through older adults, and I bring both medical and therapeutic training into my work. In addition to psychiatry, I’ve completed advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which allows me to look beyond symptoms and explore the deeper emotional patterns shaping your experience.
I specialize in mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, and women’s mental health, including the unique challenges that come with life transitions. Whether you’re navigating longstanding patterns or a more recent shift, I aim to create a space that feels warm, affirming, and grounded in real understanding.
With more than 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges and transitions. I especially love helping people navigating anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, life transitions, grief and loss, parenting, and women’s issues. I believe our relationships, families, past experiences, and the world around us all shape how we understand ourselves. Whatever brought you here, you’ve found a warm and caring place to start, and you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Welcome, I'm glad you're here. I’m a warm and compassionate therapist with several years of experience working in mental health. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and work with people who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand themselves more deeply. I take a collaborative approach, tailoring our sessions to your unique needs and goals. My priority is creating a space where you feel supported, seen, and safe to explore whatever comes up.
I am licensed Latina trauma therapist. I work with diverse adult survivors of childhood abuse and traumatic life events including experiences of oppression and discrimination. I believe that one of the biggest factors in healing comes from having a safe, nurturing, and compassionate relationship with someone who can bear witness to your pain, and help you to relieve it. Our healing relationship is always my greatest priority. You will find that I am a warm and caring therapist who will act as a guide as we discover the path to your healing. We will walk this sacred path together. I serve clients across California and Texas via telehealth.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating relationship challenges, or trying to manage things like ADHD, PMDD, or hormone-related changes, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. I know how much life can demand—balancing work, relationships, family, and everything in between can leave very little space to actually slow down and check in with yourself.
I work with adults and couples, and I really value creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and easy to show up in. My style is laid-back and genuine, and I care a lot about building a strong, collaborative connection so therapy feels helpful—not intimidating.
I am a dedicated mental health professional who supports children and adults through life’s challenges. I currently provide individual therapy only and do not offer couples counseling. My background in behavioral health and social services, along with hands-on community experience, has shaped my practical, compassionate, and solution-focused approach.
I have worked with individuals involved in the justice system, people living with serious mental illness, children in foster care, and families navigating behavioral or developmental concerns. My experience includes case management, crisis support, employment readiness, behavioral coaching, and coordinating care with medical providers, mental health facilities, and community programs to ensure consistent, long-term support.
I help clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, behavioral challenges in children and teens, parenting and co-parenting concerns, and reintegration after legal involvement. My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I believe everyone has resilience and the ability to grow with the right support.
My style is warm, honest, and structured. I value accountability while always leading with empathy and respect. I focus on building coping skills, improving communication, setting clear goals, and developing practical strategies that support emotional balance and independence.
