My work focuses on helping individuals through life transitions whether that be in the form of grief, trauma or overall changes happening and causing disruption to your life. I have been in the therapy world for 6 years now and prior worked in community focused organizations. I have training in trauma-informed therapy, as a death comadre, CPP, and perinatal mental health.
My priority is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I earned my master's degree in Social Work 29 years ago. Over the course of my career I have enjoyed working with girls and women of all ages. I enjoy supporting girls and women who are navigating middle school, high school, college, relationships, post-partum period, motherhood, divorce, menopause, and becoming empty nesters. I love seeing my clients begin therapy with stress, anxiety, OCD, depression, grief and loss, or trauma then graduate from therapy in a much better place. I believe that you can thrive no matter your age and no matter your circumstances. I have less experience helping transgender women but I really enjoy that work as well. I consider myself a LGBTQIA+ ally.
Hi, I’m Bianca Chavez, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Untamed Rose Therapy. I have over 10 years of experience in community mental health, intensive outpatient therapy, and group practice. I currently provide virtual therapy for adults throughout Arizona.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and through a wide range of life experiences. I’ve worked with adults facing anxiety, relationship challenges, major life changes, and the everyday pressures that can make it difficult to feel like yourself. These experiences have shaped how I see therapy and the importance of meeting each person as an individual.
I’m also someone who believes therapy doesn’t have to be overly formal or intimidating. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start. Sometimes knowing that you want something to feel different is enough.
Sessions are available in English and Spanish.
Si te sientes más cómodo/a hablando en español, este puede ser un espacio para hablar de tu vida, tus experiencias y lo que necesitas con respeto por tu cultura, tus valores y tu historia.
I have extensive experience working with families—including both birth and foster families—involved in DCS care, as well as individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and grief. Through this work, I have supported clients in managing complex family dynamics, coping with loss and transition, and building skills to support long-term stability and well-being.
Most recently, I worked in a primary care setting, where I gained a deeper understanding of the connection between physical and mental health. This experience has strengthened my awareness of how chronic health conditions can impact emotional well-being, stress levels, and overall quality of life. I integrate this perspective into my work, helping clients address both the emotional and practical aspects of living with ongoing health challenges.
