I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Walden University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Norfolk State University. My clinical experience spans emergency departments, hospitals, and community-based behavioral health settings, where I have supported adults navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance use concerns, and complex medical or psychiatric challenges.

I’m a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), taking an integrative approach that considers both your physical and emotional well-being.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in VA and obtained my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I believe that working collaboratively with the client and building an authentic rapport is critical to the counseling relationship. I want to provide an empathetic and warm space that allows an individual to slow down and name the heartaches, pain, and difficulty they are experiencing. My desire is each individual will find therapy as a soft landing spot to be seen and known.

As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner in rural Virginia, as well as, a decade abroad managing health programs, my experience includes acute crisis management, addiction medicine, community health, and maternal and child health. Medication management, therapy, and holistic care for depression, anxiety, adjustment challenges, traumatic experiences, and bipolar disorders are my main areas of focus. Particular interest and expertise in working with children and families in foster care.
