Dr. Ifeoma (Ify) Elebo is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Psychotherapist, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. My approach is to empower the individual through a holistic problem-solving process. My focus areas include Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Substance abuse.

I received my Master's Degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. I provided community-based mental healthcare and school-based mental healthcare before beginning my practice. I enjoy working with young people and adults to identify goals, harness strengths, and manage barriers to success.

With over three decades of dedicated psychiatric experience, I bring a unique, comprehensive perspective to mental health care. My journey spans more than 30 years in the field, including 18 years as an advance practice Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and adult medical prescriber. Having cared for individuals of all ages during my foundational years as a registered nurse, I understand the deep complexities of human development, behavioral health and substance abuse disorders. My passion for elevating patient care has allowed me to lead, mentor, and collaborate with teams of nurses across multiple states and healthcare systems. This expansive network keeps me at the forefront of modern, evidence-based treatments and diverse clinical practices. I am deeply committed to empowering my patients through personalized, empathetic and expert care. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor/ Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2016. I am a PMH-C certified in perinatal mental health through PSI Postpartum Support International. I am a Tier 1 Star Behavioral Health Provider, supporting our military and their families. I have experience supporting children, teens and adults with concerns such as anxiety and depression. I have my undergraduate and graduate degrees in psychology. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and Virginia. I am open to working with individuals ages 16 and older.

I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, attachment issues, family, and spiritually and religiously-based trauma.
