Hi there. I'm Amanda. I received my undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah in '99 and a masters degree from the University of Denver in'02. I've been practicing in the mental health field for over 25 years. I've worked with many different populations in private practice, schools, medical settings, and addictions settings.
Currently, I have a private practice focusing on ages 15-adulthood. I also teach at the University of Utah graduate school of social work where I'm honored to connect with adult learners. I'm LGBTQI affirming and experienced in my practice.
In my free time you can find me skiing, surfing, paddleboarding, reading and baking.

I have been in residential substance abuse most of my career and I have a SUDC license (Substance Use Disorder Counselor). I moved over to general outpatient in 2019 and have been working with a wide array of clients since then. Since most of my career and training has been with single adults, I do not see children and I do not work with couples and families.
