I am a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I've worked in different practice settings, including private practice, community mental health, homeless and correctional services, and addiction. I treat and manage a range of disorders ( depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, addictions, etc).

I have experience in counseling individuals, couples and families; searching for the best ways we can communicate, connect and grow. Today’s struggles are unique to the times but God’s hope, love, grace and peace is greater. I’ve been involved in professional counseling since 2013, but have worked in several ministry settings for several decades. My passion is to walk alongside individuals through the healing journey, to find out what works.

If therapy were easy, everyone would already be doing it. I work best with people who want a direct therapist, not just a sounding board. I believe that healing comes from doing the work. Real, lasting change demands full commitment—a willingness to show up daily to become the best version of ourselves.

With 24 years of experience as an LPC, my professional background spans leadership, clinical practice, and mentorship. Throughout my career, I have learned that people value connection - whether it’s through shared goals, emotions, or by being seen and heard. I work alongside adults and teens (16+) facing addiction, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties, and parenting or teen struggles. Supporting military service members and veterans is also an important part of my work.

I have counseled adults, couples, teens, children, and families in the San Antonio area since 2008. I enjoy helping people experiencing grief/loss, stress, and life changes. I'm an Air Force veteran and was active duty for 6 years prior to becoming a therapist.

I am a friendly goal-oriented therapist who believes strongly in positive self-reinforcement. I have a Master's degree from La Tech University with a background in private practice for over 20 years. I am Licensed in Louisiana and Texas as a professional counselor. I am also Licensed as a marriage and family therapist in Louisiana.
