If you are here looking for ways to have a better connection with yourself and others and find yourself thinking:
*What do I do now"?
(Neurodivergent informed therapy, Life stages, Sp. Ed. disabilities advocacy, chronic conditions/illnesses)
"I wish I had someone to talk to about this"
(Relationships, Grief, Communication skills, aging & life stages)
"I am tired of feeling like this and want to feel better
(Anxiety, Depression, Self - Love, Empowerment)
"What is it that makes me feel/believe like this"?
(Understanding yourself, what makes you You)
I can help. I want you to feel better, have a lighter spirit and help you find your personal best ways as we walk on your journey together.
This is what I know:
In my family, we have Neurodivergence, some anxiety, depression, grief, life stages, chronic illnesses and conditions and pain issues.
My belief: You are the Key to your Solutions!
I came to counseling after realizing at age 16 that I was meant to be counselor. Since then, working as a Sp. Ed. teacher and a regular education and Sp. Ed. counselor and in IOP therapy have added up while I persisted to make my dream come true to be an LPC. Yes, dreams do come true!
Personally, I offer experience and life perspective learned from nearly all the eras of our human experience and I hope to share it with my clients.
Therapies and techniques, and plans are customized just for you: Person-Centered, Cognitive - Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Self - Expression and Mindfulness through art and nature. All are holistically for your mind, body and spirit benefit.
Taking the first step to therapy can be hard and such a relief once that first step is taken. I am here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space of compassion and empathy. Through a holistic lens we will work together to navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. With over 20 years in education, I now find myself working with clients from diverse backgrounds and all ages. My approach will be tailored to meet your unique needs. We will discuss your needs and find a treatment that best fits your needs and goals. I offer help navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, grief and life transitions. Together we will conquer the root of life's deeper issues or places you may feel stuck. You already have the strength and resilience to write your new story - it is my job to create a safe, authentic and sometimes humorous space where you can begin to rewrite it.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work and over five years of experience supporting adults ages 18 to 100. I specialize in working with individuals navigating chronic illness, chronic pain, addiction, complex grief, end-of-life concerns, and trauma.
I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique experiences, needs, and goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental, creating a caring and encouraging therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges and develop meaningful coping skills. Through secure telehealth sessions, I work alongside clients to help them build resilience, find balance, and move toward the goals that matter most to them.
Taking the step to seek support isn’t easy, and I want to honor the courage it takes to be here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Life Coach, and retired Army veteran who believes caring for your mental health is essential to living a balanced, fulfilling life. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with themselves. I work with teens and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or major life transitions, and I strive to meet you with respect, compassion, and understanding.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time outdoors, riding my horses, and being with my family. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to what matters most in life. I value balance, authenticity, and meaningful relationships, and I bring those same values into my work with clients. I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and working toward their goals.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people navigate stress, anxiety, trauma, and life’s harder moments with over a decade of experience.
