I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Houston. I specialize in helping adults and older adults navigate workplace stress, family challenges, and emotional wellbeing. My areas of focus include career burnout, work-life balance, anxiety, depression, intimate partner violence, divorce, caregiving stress, and cross-cultural adjustment.
I believe every person carries an inner strength that can be uncovered and nurtured. In therapy, I provide a safe, compassionate space where you can share your story, build resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I became a therapist because I lived the question my clients carry: Who am I underneath everything I've been told to be?
I know firsthand how deeply childhood experiences, adult trauma, and the messages we absorb from parents, partners, and systems can shape — and distort — how we see ourselves. Many of my clients arrive believing something is fundamentally broken in them. My job is to help you discover that's never been true.
What sets my work apart is that I treat the whole picture. I don't just address symptoms — I explore how your history, your nervous system, your neurobiology, and even your epigenetics created the patterns keeping you stuck. That's how change becomes permanent, not just temporary relief.
I also bring something most therapists can't offer: a commitment to never judge. Whether you're navigating a life others don't understand, a diagnosis that's felt like a label rather than a doorway, or relationships that don't fit a conventional mold — you are safe here.
And I believe this with everything I have: it is never too late to become who you were meant to be.
Many of the people I work with are accustomed to being the dependable one, yet privately feel anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of worry or intrusive thoughts, or disconnected from themselves or their relationships. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to provide a calm, down-to-earth space where you can be honest without fear of judgment.
My years in education and as a school counselor shaped my patient, practical, and compassionate approach. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two golden retrievers, gardening, working on creative projects, and traveling in our RV. I’m also naturally a night owl, so offering late-evening therapy feels like a genuine extension of who I am.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 8 years of experience working as a private practice counselor, a school counselor, a career counselor, and a university counselor. I have worked with clients who present a wide range of struggles including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, career challenges, grief, trauma, and self-harm. I have worked with individuals of all ages, couples, groups, and families. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University, a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University, and I am currently finishing my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Texas Tech University. Additionally, I have certificates in College Student Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University.
My counseling style is interested, caring and open-minded. I approach every individual with interest and respect. My approach combines existential, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused counseling. Every client is unique and I will tailor my counseling style to provide the best care for you.
I specialize in helping couples and adults navigate relationship challenges, cultural differences, and major life transitions. My work is especially focused on couples who feel disconnected, stuck in recurring conflict, or unsure how to rebuild trust and emotional closeness. As a Level 3 Gottman Method-trained therapist, I help partners understand their patterns, communicate more effectively, and create a stronger relationship. I also support individuals balancing career, family, cultural adjustment, and the demands of a new chapter.
