I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting children and adolescents as they navigate depression, anxiety, and life’s challenges. With a background in both outpatient and inpatient care. I bring a compassionate, clinically grounded understanding of the challenges young people face today. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build healthier coping skills and move forward with confidence.
There are moments where each of us experience difficult and stressful points in our lives. Whether it's a painful divorce, the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job, going through stress in a relationship, unresolved self-esteem issues, questions about gender or sexuality, dealing with a troubled child, family stress, or facing pain from childhood and/or adult trauma. Life can be hard at times; there is no doubt about that. I have come to view those challenging times that we all experience, albeit in different ways, as opportunities for us to make positive changes and adjustments - what I like to call "reset moments."
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help move my clients to lasting change. I have experience working in schools, hospitals, and in my own private practice. Through individual counseling, we move from places of stagnation and fear into the amazing future that each of us deserves and I believe we can have.
I am always amazed at the strength and courage of my clients. It's never easy to take that first step, to commit to the process of change, to put in the effort to do the hard work, and to hope for more. We must always remember that each of us has the power to be who we are intended to be and to create the lives we want. I look forward to working with you...

(Neurodivergent informed therapy, Life stages, Sp. Ed. disabilities advocacy, chronic conditions/illnesses)
"I wish I had someone to talk to about this"
(Relationships, Grief, Communication skills, aging & life stages)
"I am tired of feeling like this and want to feel better
(Anxiety, Depression, Self - Love, Empowerment)
"What is it that makes me feel/believe like this"?
(Understanding yourself, what makes you You)
I can help. I want you to feel better, have a lighter spirit and help you find your personal best ways as we walk on your journey together.
This is what I know:
In my family, we have Neurodivergence, some anxiety, depression, grief, life stages, chronic illnesses and conditions and pain issues.
My belief: You are the Key to your Solutions!
I came to counseling after realizing at age 16 that I was meant to be counselor. Since then, working as a Sp. Ed. teacher and a regular education and Sp. Ed. counselor and in IOP therapy have added up while I persisted to make my dream come true to be an LPC. Yes, dreams do come true!
Personally, I offer experience and life perspective learned from nearly all the eras of our human experience and I hope to share it with my clients.
Therapies and techniques, and plans are customized just for you: Person-Centered, Cognitive - Behavioral, Solution Focused, and Self - Expression and Mindfulness through art and nature. All are holistically for your mind, body and spirit benefit.
Taking the first step to therapy can be hard and such a relief once that first step is taken. I am here to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space of compassion and empathy. Through a holistic lens we will work together to navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. With over 20 years in education, I now find myself working with clients from diverse backgrounds and all ages. My approach will be tailored to meet your unique needs. We will discuss your needs and find a treatment that best fits your needs and goals. I offer help navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, grief and life transitions. Together we will conquer the root of life's deeper issues or places you may feel stuck. You already have the strength and resilience to write your new story - it is my job to create a safe, authentic and sometimes humorous space where you can begin to rewrite it.
