In 2019, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and in 2022, I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Both were from Texas A&M International University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. I am also a Substance Abuse Professional and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. In my approach in therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients to evaluate your unique needs and provide an evidence-based approach so as to reach your treatment goals. I firmly believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery and I will walk alongside you in this journey towards creating a meaningful life.

I have been practicing in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I have a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from University of North Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I serve clients age 18 and up addressing issues related to trauma, substance use, stress management, family issues, and other mental health issues. abusive relationship, and raising two kids (one a teenager, one a young adult) taught me firsthand that healing is possible, and that nobody should have to do it alone.

Today I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience, a devoted father, and a former martial artist who traded the mat for the counseling room. I started out as a middle school shop teacher, and watching school counselors change students' lives is what led me to earn a master's in school counseling and then a second master's in counseling.
