I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with
over 10 years of experience helping
people work through life challenges and
the negative thought processes that keep
them stuck. A lot of my work is about
helping clients become emotionally
resilient, using mindfulness and other
practical tools from the theories that fit
each person best. If you're carrying
anxiety, unresolved trauma,
or strain in your closest relationships, you
don't have to sort it out on your own. I
work with teenagers, adults and seniors, including a
lot of men who didn't expect therapy to
be for them.
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained, and I provide a supportive space to better understand what’s going on and begin making meaningful changes.
I attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene Texas and received my Master's in Family Psychology. After many years of work in a non profit adoption agency and in several psychiatric hospitals, I found my passion lies in working with individuals that want to explore their past to inform their current functioning. Although the hot "it" therapies offer quick fixes, I believe you must first understand yourself before you can understand the root of your issues.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed mental health professional and clinical supervisor with more than 18 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. I provide telehealth services to clients in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Virginia.
My experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I believe that each person brings unique strengths, abilities, and experiences to their journey, and I strive to create a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can feel heard and understood.
My goal is to work alongside you to navigate challenges, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to support your mental health and overall well-being. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward greater health and wellness.

So much of my work is rooted in one question: what happens when we stop trusting ourselves? For me, that question became very personal.
After the birth of my first child, I found myself carrying not only physical pain but a deep sense of disconnection. I was listening to every voice but my own — questioning my body, my instincts, my inner wisdom. It was disorienting in a way I hadn't expected.
With my second child, something shifted. The experience felt empowering, attuned, and deeply mine. I listened inward. I trusted my body. And I witnessed firsthand just how intelligent and wise the body truly is when we feel safe enough to connect with it.
That journey brought me back to something foundational — the body knows. Our minds and bodies are constantly communicating with us. But life has a way of teaching us to override those signals. Trauma, stress, cultural conditioning, the pressure to hold it all together — they all teach us to ignore our inner knowing. Healing, I believe, is often about learning to listen again. It's a homecoming.
