Hello! My name is Yaritza. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) TX #80888 & FL #TPMC5727, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), and a national board-certified counselor (NBCC). I am bilingual (English & Spanish), and I have been working in the mental health field since 2009. My experience includes working at community mental health agencies and, most recently, at a major insurance company.

As a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist, my relationship with my client is the most important aspect of the process. I strive for connection and a collaborative spirit. Hello! I have experience working with adolescents and adults using a variety of therapy techniques in individual and group therapy sessions. I work with a variety of treatment modules including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness. I have worked extensively in crisis experience and with clients in crisis partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive out-patient (IOP), and in school settings.
