Every person experiences seasons of life that can feel overwhelming. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, grief, or major life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic experience where meaningful, lasting change can occur.
For nearly two decades, I have had the privilege of serving individuals, couples, and families throughout Nevada as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. In addition to direct clinical practice, I have served as a Clinical Director, executive leader, clinical supervisor, consultant, educator, and program developer, helping develop innovative behavioral healthcare programs and clinical services across Nevada. These diverse experiences have allowed me to work with individuals from virtually every walk of life while treating a broad range of complex behavioral health concerns.
My approach is individualized, practical, and grounded in research-supported treatment. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and person-centered therapy to develop treatment plans tailored to each client's unique strengths, needs, and goals.
I believe people are far more than the challenges that bring them to therapy. My commitment is to provide compassionate, clinically excellent care while helping clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, overcome obstacles, and create healthier, more meaningful lives.
My name is Bradley Smith, and I’m a therapist who believes that meaningful change begins with feeling understood. I work with individuals who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the everyday pressures that can make life feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard without judgment.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re not sure where to start. I approach each client with curiosity, empathy, and respect for their unique experiences. Everyone’s story is different, and I believe therapy should reflect that. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable while focusing on what matters most to you.
If you're dealing with substance use, addiction, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, or the kind of family stress that's hard to put into words — this is a good place to start. I work with adults, teens, and seniors across Nevada via virtual sessions, and I specialize in the situations where more than one thing is going on at once: the drinking and the grief underneath it, the family conflict rooted in cultural pressure, the anxiety that's been there so long it feels normal.
I'm a Black and Asian LCSW therapist with a background in crisis intervention and a genuine understanding of what it means to navigate identity, immigration, loss, and belonging. I work particularly well with clients from communities of color, immigrant families, and people who have tried to manage things on their own for too long. I accept Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Nevada, and Oxford.
I am a therapist that believes the client is the expert in understanding their presenting problem, I utilize Socratic methods to assist my client in gaining understanding on how to resolve their presenting issues
