Therapy with me is a conversation, not a lecture. I’m direct, a little sarcastic, and I use humor to make the hard stuff easier to talk about. I believe in meeting you where you are—whether you’re navigating a major life transition, working through past trauma, or just trying to figure out why everything feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and maybe even laugh a little along the way.
Welcome! I am Vivian McCown, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the owner of Inspire Therapy. I work with teens (16+), adults, and couples navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, trauma experiences, grief, and identity exploration. I also enjoy supporting LGBTQ+ clients, millennials, and those who feel overwhelmed or stuck in patterns they're ready to change.
Hello, I’m Diana Tabares-Avila, a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals feel supported, understood, and empowered through life’s challenges. I earned my undergraduate education at University of Nevada, Reno and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds.
I believe healing happens in safe and trusting relationships. Clients often describe me as patient, caring, and easy to talk to. I take pride in creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and respected without judgment. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, parenting concerns, or major life transitions, I aim to help you feel less alone and more confident in moving forward.
I also value ongoing growth as a clinician and continue expanding my knowledge so I can provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s needs.
I understand how overwhelming anxiety, depression, or chronic pain can feel, especially when you're caught in a cycle of fear and avoidance. It’s tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. We can work through your struggles, find understanding, and create a path toward healing. If you're ready for change, I’m here to listen and support you.
Do you feel buried under the heavy weight of depression, or find your days derailed by intense mood shifts you can’t seem to control? Living with trauma or bipolar disorder can feel like an exhausting, lonely battle, leaving you feeling disconnected from the people and life you love. You might be constantly managing anxiety, stress, or relationship strain, wondering if you'll ever find solid ground. You do not have to navigate this darkness alone. You deserve a space where your pain is met with deep understanding, and where your story is heard without judgment.
Began my career as a case manager, working with children and young adults experiencing challenges managing their emotions. Working with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, I then completed my Masters in Counseling degree, withan emphasis on Marriage, Family and Child therapy. My experience assisting in Couples counseling sessions has encouraged me to focus on the "Union's" and the "Individual's" needs of the relationship. Providing stress management skills for phase of life transition for the younger and older population has been my pleasure.
