Hi, I'm Syreeta! My passion for helping others began as a volunteer at my children's elementary school, where I realized that helping children also means supporting their families. That experience inspired me to earn a bachelor's degree in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both hospital and private practice settings. I believe healing is possible with the right guidance, compassion, and support, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

My name is Denise Hill, and I am a therapist with 17 years of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges and transitions. I believe that each person is the expert on their own life. While generalizations can sometimes be helpful, they often overlook the unique experiences, perspectives, and circumstances that shape who we are.

No two people experience the world in exactly the same way. Our lives are influenced by factors such as personal history, identity, relationships, power, privilege, and significant life events. Because of this, I am most interested in understanding your story. Together, we can explore the barriers that may be affecting your success, self-worth, and overall well-being, while identifying strengths and opportunities for growth, healing, and fulfillment.

My curiosity about substance abuse and family systems sparked my interest in this field, leading me to study substance abuse counseling, which eventually deepened my passion for psychology.

Over the years, I’ve worked in Connecticut alongside DCF and the court systems. Since starting as a case manager in 1995, I’ve continued to grow and gain valuable experience in this ever-evolving field of psychology.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS) with over a decade of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I earned my Master’s in Counseling Psychology and have built my career serving individuals navigating trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and high-pressure environments.

In addition to providing therapy, I serve as CEO of Success Brand Behavioral Health, where I lead a team of clinicians and continue to provide direct care. I’ve also worked extensively with youth and families involved in foster care and the juvenile justice system and currently teach graduate counseling students as an adjunct professor.
