As a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I believe in prioritizing mental health for all persons as s key to happiness and stability. Congratulations in taking the first and hardest step in seeking mental health treatment. I’ve been practicing for 30 years, but in the last decade, I have been focusing both on med management and individual therapy.
I’m a psychotherapist and coach with nearly two decades of experience working with teens, young adults, and families. Much of my work focuses on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and helping people navigate major life transitions, including adolescence, college, relationships, and career development.
Over the past several years, I’ve focused deeply on generational, religious, and family dynamics—especially the ways past experiences shape how we relate to ourselves and to the people closest to us. My goal is simple: to help people like each other as much as they love each other.
My approach is practical, direct, and collaborative. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems, while also helping clients develop clear communication skills, emotional awareness, and confidence in who they are and how they want to live.
Clients who work with me can expect thoughtful conversations, honest feedback, and a focus on meaningful growth—not just symptom relief.
Hola, bienvenida/o.

I have over two decades of Social Work experience. I have worked in high school settings for over 20 years with a variety of students to include: LGBTQ+, anxiety, depression, PTSD/trauma, ADHD, and teen parenting. Therapy is self-care. I want my client's therapeutic experience to be the best one possible as I know they are using the small amount of time they have to work on themselves. I am the therapist I would want for myself. I am collaborative, knowledgeable, I help simplify the complicated, put words to experiences, feelings, and thoughts, and guide clients in what to do with their findings. I am the therapist you do "the work" with.
You're here because something needs to change, and that takes courage. I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families across Florida and Indiana. I specialize in maternal mental health, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use. I don't do cookie-cutter therapy — I adapt to you, your pace, and your life.
