I’m Dr. Daniela De Medeiros, a clinical psychologist in Miami with over a decade of experience working with teens and adults from all walks of life. I work with people navigating anxiety, panic disorder, depression, ADHD, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, identity, family conflict, relationship struggles, women’s issues, and the emotional weight of chronic illness and chronic pain.

I hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and a master’s in mental health counseling, with specialized training in health psychology. I’m also trilingual and conduct sessions in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

Most people who find me are exhausted, a little unsure therapy will even help, and carrying more than they let anyone see. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start.

I am an experienced psychotherapist in private practice for 15 years. I provide couples, family and individual therapy. As a couples therapist, I see couples that have destructive unhealthy and ineffective commuication patterns. Their inability to communicate effectively will lead to further deterioration with unresolved conflicts in their relationship, I also work with individual's who experience Anxiety, and depression. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Albizu University in Miami, Fl and have been working for over 9 years in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges in hospitals, inpatient facilities, and private practice. I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, eating disorders, grief, perimenopause, and other health and women's mental health concerns.

My therapeutic style is personalized because I don't believe once approach fits all. I integrate evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness based interventions, and trauma informed techniques. Together, we will work together to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical skills you can use outside of our session.
