I am an experienced psychotherapist in private practice for 15 years. I provide couples, family and individual therapy. As a couples therapist, I see couples that have destructive unhealthy and ineffective commuication patterns. Their inability to communicate effectively will lead to further deterioration with unresolved conflicts in their relationship, I also work with individual's who experience Anxiety, and depression. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, and Baptist Health South Florida. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I treat conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and substance use. As a bilingual provider in English and Spanish, I am committed to making compassionate mental health care more accessible.

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Albizu University in Miami, Fl and have been working for over 9 years in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals facing a wide range of emotional and life challenges in hospitals, inpatient facilities, and private practice. I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, eating disorders, grief, perimenopause, and other health and women's mental health concerns.

My therapeutic style is personalized because I don't believe once approach fits all. I integrate evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness based interventions, and trauma informed techniques. Together, we will work together to identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing practical skills you can use outside of our session.
