I work with creative people because I understand and respect your uniqueness. I have been a PMHNP for 15 years, and an RN for many more. I earned a BA from CUNY, a BS from NYU, and an MS in Nursing specializing in psychiatry, from SLU. I am a safe and experienced prescriber of medication, and will find the right fit for you.

Hi, I’m Breecole Valdez! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Moods Counseling Services. I earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 and have since dedicated myself to helping people navigate mental health challenges with compassion, understanding, and a down-to-earth vibe. My experience includes leading mental health and DBT IOP groups at Aurora Behavioral Health, and interning at Healthy Futures in Scottsdale.

My practice is able to see clients for most mental health diagnoses, utilizing most modalities. I specialize in the treatment of addictions and trauma and my experience in these areas is vast. I most enjoy utilizing IFS, EMDR, and AEPD to address these issues. I am EMDRIA certified in EMDR and IFS level I trained.

I’ve spent over 22 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, helping people just like you navigate life’s biggest challenges. I'm licensed in Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
