I believe counseling should be a place where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Many of the clients I work with are navigating important life transitions—work, school, marriage, family relationships, cultural identity, leadership stress, faith questions, or the pressures of professional life. Whether we are working through relationship challenges, stress, anxiety, or life direction, I approach therapy as a partnership where we work together toward healing and clarity.
Life can pull us in a hundred different directions, and sometimes it takes slowing down, getting real, and having honest conversations to find our way forward. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years of experience in mental health and substance misuse services. I also have a postgraduate Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, and am passionate about helping folks with post-psychedelic integration. Our therapeutic partnership begins with the understanding that you are a whole person — not a diagnosis, a symptom, or a set of circumstances. Together, we will explore how the intersections of identity, lived experience, trauma, mental health, and substance use shape your inner world and outer life across biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions.
I work with adults 18+ and families navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, burnout, boundaries, communication breakdown, relationship conflict, and emotional cycles that feel stuck. My style is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in real-world tools that fit your life. You should know this isn’t about perfection or starting fully “ready”—it’s about being met where you are, making sense of what’s been heavy, and building clarity, resilience, and momentum forward in a supported space.
Having over 30 years of experience and a doctorate in social work, I've enjoyed helping clients work through life's hardest passages- grief, identity, relationships, and carrying heavy burdens. We develop a rhythm quickly and I invest in understanding both where you have been and where you want to go. Homework often helps progress develop quickly.
