My experience centers on supporting clients of all ages through a wide range of life challenges. Guided by a solution-focused perspective, I believe holistic healing is a foundational part of effective client care. I am trained in EMDR, a therapeutic modality that helps clients process trauma and other difficult life experiences that may interfere with personal growth, relationships, and mental health. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and other concerns that can make it difficult to feel grounded or move forward. I hold a master’s degree from Colorado Christian University and have received training in both play therapy and EMDR. I have also worked with clients experiencing dual diagnoses within the field of substance use disorders, which has deepened my understanding of the connection between emotional pain, coping, and healing.

In 2019, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and in 2022, I obtained my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Both were from Texas A&M International University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Texas. I am also a Substance Abuse Professional and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. In my approach in therapy, I work collaboratively with my clients to evaluate your unique needs and provide an evidence-based approach so as to reach your treatment goals. I firmly believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery and I will walk alongside you in this journey towards creating a meaningful life.

I have been practicing in the field of mental health for over 20 years. I have a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from University of North Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I serve clients age 18 and up addressing issues related to trauma, substance use, stress management, family issues, and other mental health issues. I have extensive experience in working with LGBTQi population. Clients will be seen virtually.

abusive relationship, and raising two kids (one a teenager, one a young adult) taught me firsthand that healing is possible, and that nobody should have to do it alone.

Today I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 9 years of experience, a devoted father, and a former martial artist who traded the mat for the counseling room. I started out as a middle school shop teacher, and watching school counselors change students' lives is what led me to earn a master's in school counseling and then a second master's in counseling.
