Hi! My name is Shawn and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in the state of Texas with a passion for providing a high quality of services to individuals struggling with mental health disorders. I earned my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayland Baptist University in 2009 and have worked diligently in the mental health field since that time.

I believe therapy should be tailored to each client individually as it is not a “one size fits all" solution. Whether or not you have a “diagnosis”, therapy is incredibly important and is a space where you get to talk about your everyday stressors or your major traumas. It’s up to you. I am dual licensed in Texas and New York.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a Master's Degree in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I spent the beginning of my career in mental health working at an MHMR, as well as working with those struggling with addiction and eating disorders.

I have two graduate degrees in the field (Behavioral Medicine/Health Psychology and Professional Counseling) and am a licensed behavioral health clinician in both Texas & California. My experience includes working with individuals and groups with a wide range of mental health, substance use, and basic counseling issues. I believe we all need help at points of our life and, if we are willing to ask for it, the support and guidance can be invaluable.

As someone in recovery myself, I understand how heavy addiction can feel. Sometimes we just need someone to sit in the pit with us while we gather the strength to climb out. What keeps me going are the goals that I set after I got out of my own pit. I built a life I love. When I'm not in my office, I'm probably out collecting comic book memorabilia, working on a project on my house, teaching my dogs about the importance of boundaries, or watching Jurassic Park. I obtained my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University in 2021 and am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and clinical professional counselor in the state of Nevada. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship / attachment issues, couples counseling, adjustment difficulties, and emotion regulation difficulties.

Dr. Fyneface Ikpo is a highly experienced and compassionate professional, with a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He brings family and life experience, wisdom, and 30+ years of experience in public service working with individuals and families from diverse cultural, religious, and social backgrounds. Welcome! My name is Marquin Decker and I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas. I am Licensed Professional Counselor and am EMDR Trained.

I didn’t grow up with the healthy mother-daughter relationship I longed for, and that experience shaped my desire to help others find healing. Today, I’m passionate about helping my clients build the connection, understanding, and relationship they deserve. I specialize in working with women and teens as well as incorporating equine and animal-assisted therapies. I am also trained in play therapy and can work with children ages 6-10yo.
