I am dual licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have extensive experience working in private practice and residential treatment for addiction and severe mental health. In addition to my MA for counseling I also have a Master of Theology and enjoy working with individuals navigating their spirituality.

McCartney is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Minor in Bible from Harding University. From there he went on to receive his Master’s Degree from Texas Wesleyan in Professional Counseling. McCartney has experience with a wide range of ages from his time working as a children’s ministry intern, to working at a treatment center for teens and young men and running group counseling at an intensive outpatient program.

I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, mood disorders, life transitions, and the everyday challenges that can impact well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can gain insight, find healing, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.

As a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist, my relationship with my client is the most important aspect of the process. I strive for connection and a collaborative spirit. It is always my goal to help the client with their unique and special needs. Whether someone struggles with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, or general relational issues, I want to develop a plan with them that will be customized to their needs, and specific to what their desired outcome is.

I’ve worked in a variety of mental health fields, including inpatient & outpatient psychiatric programs, residential treatment facilities, & a handful of private practices. These experiences have given me a multi-faceted view of the spectrum of care for mental health. I believe it has allowed me to truly understand every side of mental health treatment.

Hello! My name is Yaritza. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) TX #80888 & FL #TPMC5727, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), and a national board-certified counselor (NBCC). I am bilingual (English & Spanish), and I have been working in the mental health field since 2009. My experience includes working at community mental health agencies and, most recently, at a major insurance company.

As a counselor, I feel like mental health is a journey that is easier with a guide. I believe in empowering my clients and giving them the information and confidence to choose the paths along their journey that are best for them. I have been fully licensed since 2018 and I enjoy working with adults and couples.
