Hello! My name is Alex and I have a Master's degree in Addiction Counseling from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. I specialize in working with individuals navigating PTSD and prolonged grief disorder. I have experience supporting veterans, active-duty service members, and their families through the unique challenges associated with trauma, reintegration, relationships, and emotional adjustment. As a Certified National Anger Management Specialist, my clinical approach also focuses on anger management, emotional regulation, and helping clients successfully navigate difficult life transitions. I also work with individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, recognizing the complex relationship between trauma, emotional distress, addiction, and behavioral patterns.

I bring more than 18 years of clinical experience supporting children who have experienced abuse and neglect, individuals working through addiction, youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, families navigating foster care and adoption, and clients experiencing acute mental health crisis.
