Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and grounded space from the beginning. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in complex and developmental trauma.

I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.

I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.

I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).

I believe the heart of effective therapy is a genuine human connection. I am Gottman and EMDR trained and have certifications in several other modalities, but above technique, I believe in safe, authentic and agile connection to find healing.

Find the right couples therapist for you

Headway makes it easy to find support for your relationship — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Couples Therapist in Fort Worth, TX

Searching for couples therapists in Fort Worth starts with understanding what you and your partner want to work on together. Couples counseling in Fort Worth may focus on communication patterns, recurring conflict, trust after infidelity, major life transitions, or parenting disagreements. As you compare therapists, look for training that matches your needs. Licensed marriage and family therapists, as well as therapists with specific couples training like the Gottman Method or Emotionally Focused Therapy, may be a good fit to consider.

Fort Worth has many therapy options across neighborhoods and nearby areas, which can make it harder to narrow the search. For couples therapy in Fort Worth, TX, the right match also needs to work for both partners’ schedules, preferences, and appointment format. Some couples prefer meeting in person, while others choose virtual sessions to make scheduling easier. Review therapist bios before booking to understand their approach to relationship counseling, session structure, and whether they offer a brief initial consultation to help assess fit.

Marriage counseling in Fort Worth can be a significant expense without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway makes it easier to find therapists who offer relationship counseling in Fort Worth and accept a wide range of insurance plans. You can enter your insurance details, see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking, review therapist bios, and book directly when you’re ready.

If you're experiencing or worried about violence, threats, or coercion in your relationship, couples therapy isn't usually the right starting point — individual support is safer. The National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
