I am an LPC, was formerly an LCDC, and I am trained in EMDR, meaning I specialize in substance use and trauma. However, I'm here to help with normal life stress as well.

Hello! My name is Pablo Arturo Jimenez, MS, LPC, NCC. I have a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a PhD student in Clinical Psychology. I always carried a passion for helping people through their most difficult times and needs. I developed a life philosophy that if I have the power to help people, then it is my duty to do so. Helping people has allowed me to work with adolescents and adults who struggle with mental health/substance use disabilities or life adjustments. I am a licensed psychologist with over fifteen years of experience providing therapy in both Spanish and English. I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from Indiana University and my doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My doctoral program emphasized multicultural competence and using research to inform practice. Therefore, I use an evidence-based, cultural and trauma-informed approach in therapy. I have worked with Veterans, women and men diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, women diagnosed with breast cancer, and individuals experiencing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I am licensed in the states of Texas and Iowa.

I have over 24 years of experience working with all different age groups and diagnoses. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma to include military, veteran and first responder related experiences. I have years of experience working with PTSD, moral injury and survivor's guilt.

Amanda has 8 years of clinical experience in trauma-informed therapy. Amanda has a background in long-term rehabilitation, psychological assessments, inpatient, outpatient, individual, and group therapy.

After serving Combat Veterans throughout Central Texas for many years, I decided to move closer to my family and establish my current practice serving clients in a private practice setting in Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science in Social Work and come to my practice with over 19 years of experience in diagnosis & treatment of mental disorders. I am certified in Prepare Enrich for pre-marital & married couples, Gottman Trained & EMDR Trained.
