Hello there! My name is Anjelica and I look forward to learning more about you! I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience in the field. I received my BA in Psychology from Penn State and my MSW from Walden University. The majority of my experience as a young social worker came from a large community mental health agency in Ocean County, NJ. I spent a lot of time with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness (schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression, trauma, ext). One of my favorite populations to work with are the homeless. I spent years working for PATH in the community and found this work exceptionally rewarding. I also worked for a time with local police departments as the department social worker. Another population I enjoy working with is teens. My graduate internship was at a shelter for children and adolescents aged 10-19 who were homelessness or waiting for foster placement. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and seniors in an outpatient therapeutic setting.

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC), I provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to individuals receiving inpatient and outpatient services through Rutgers Behavioral Health. I work with patients navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, with a focus on individualized, compassionate treatment. I am a board -certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a passion for helping individuals achieve mental wellness through personalized, evidence-based care. I earned my Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry and have several years of experience working with diverse populations in both in person and tele-psychiatry settings. My clinical focus includes mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions and life traditions. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard and empowered.

I am a doctoral-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based mental health care in a safe and supportive environment. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and other behavioral health concerns across the lifespan, with a special passion for women’s mental health and wellness, including perinatal/postpartum care, hormonal mood changes, and holistic emotional wellbeing. My approach combines expert medication management, supportive therapy, and whole-person wellness strategies—empowering every client to feel heard, valued, and confident on their journey toward healing and lasting wellness.

I have a strong personal connection to nature, which I believe can be a powerful tool for healing. I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, surfing, and even farming—which allows me to maintain a sense of balance and peace.
