I was born and raised in Montana and have a genuine passion for nature and the outdoors. I received my Bachelors in Psychology at Montana State University in 2001. I then pursued my Masters of Social Work degree and graduated in 2008 from the University of Montana. This graduate program had a focus on providing a social justice and integrated practitioner perspective. I have an eclectic style that can be tailored to each unique individual. My primary therapeutic methods include Mindfulness Based, Holistic, Exposure, Narrative, Cognitive and Behavioral, Strengths Based & Solution Focused Therapies. I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment that often helps people feel comfortable. A true passion of mine is structuring therapeutic activities for clients to express, process, increase self-awareness, and de-stress from life’s challenging and developmental experiences.

I have been practicing therapy for 14 years and have experience with survivors of domestic violence, substance abuse issues, anxiety and depression. I have an integrative approach combining cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and solution focused therapy. My hope is to join with my clients to form goals that they want to work on and we start on the journey together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in both English and Spanish, possessing over a decade of experience in community mental health, school settings, healthcare mental health, and the private sector. My expertise spans from working with children to the elderly. I address a variety of issues, including general mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and life transitions.

I am passionate about making a difference in my clients' lives.15 years of experience with complicated grief, family systems, couples, teens, and veterans. Areas of competence- complicated grief, anxiety, anger management, depression, personality disorders, relationship issues, high conflict divorce and child custody challenges for you and your children. Education in forensic psychology adds a professional competence in assessments, high conflict resolutions, human behaviors, child development and interpersonal skills.

Percy Ford, MC, LPC-MHSP established Lighthouse Correctional Counseling and Mental Health Services in 2012 to provide Individual Psychotherapy, Family Counseling, Group Therapy and Couples Counseling to offenders and their families. Mr. Ford earned a BS in Social Work from Tuskegee University in 1997 and graduated from Argosy University School of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences in 2007 with a MA in Professional Counseling.
