I bring more than clinical training to this work—drawing on two decades in supporting individuals to self-actualize through education, design, and community building. My approach is integrative, warm, and forward-looking. It’s practical and rooted in evidence-based practices like Internal Family Systems, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), expanded by a adaptive and existential frameworks, and grounded in the belief that safety and transformation begin from within.
I have been a clinical social worker for over 20 years and worked in a variety of settings. My goal is to help you realize your strengths, how to set and achieve your therapy goals, listen attentively, and make an achievable plan with you.
Dr. Muriana B. Jeanniton, DNP, PMHNP‐BC, is a psychiatric clinician, military officer, and founder of BMPMHS, LLC. She brings a calm, steady presence to every session — the kind that helps people breathe again.
Born in Port‐au‐Prince and raised in Boston, Dr. Jeanniton built her life from resilience, overcoming early hardship and homelessness to become a leader in mental health, forensic nursing, and crisis stabilization.
With 12 years of experience as a psychiatric provider and nearly 20 years in healthcare overall, she blends clinical precision with genuine human connection. Her background spans medical‐surgical nursing, emergency care, inpatient psychiatry, outpatient treatment, and crisis stabilization. Patients describe her as warm, direct, and grounding — someone who listens with intention and treats with clarity.
In addition to her civilian practice, Dr. Jeanniton serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, supporting humanitarian missions, crisis deployments, and large‐scale public health operations. Her dual background in military leadership and psychiatric care shapes her ability to remain steady, thoughtful, and effective in high‐pressure environments.
She believes healing begins with being truly understood. Her work reflects purpose, service, and the belief that every person deserves dignity, stability, and a space where they can finally exhale.

Enjoys helping clients to feel empowered to find their own true potential. She has the understanding that each client's needs are unique to their own situations. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, and perinatal mental health — and I hold particular expertise working with military service members, veterans, and people navigating pregnancy loss, infertility, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. I understand military culture in a way that's hard to put into words, and I take it seriously. I also know firsthand what early motherhood can feel like — the disorientation, the grief that shows up alongside joy, the way it can surface things you thought you'd already dealt with. Having my own child gave me a different kind of understanding of this work, and it informs how I show up for clients going through it. I use evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), CBT, and ACT — because you deserve more than good listening. You deserve treatment that has a track record of actually working.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with extensive experience in trauma, grief and bereavement, hospice and palliative care, substance use, recovery, and major life transitions. I earned my Master of Social Work from Wheelock College, along with a Certificate in Medical Social Work, and later completed training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research through the California Institute of Integral Studies. I also have experience with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy and bring an integrative, trauma-informed perspective to my work. I especially enjoy working with adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a licensed mental health clinician and paramedic. My work with individuals and couples is centered around connecting the whole body. If you have struggled with typical treatments and therapy and need out of the box ideas, we will be a great fit.
I offer Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy to individuals seeking a deeper understanding of self. I help people build skills to overcome anxiety, depression and emotional overwhelm. I offer training in mindfulness, which emphasizes the importance of presence and curiosity in the healing process.
I have deep empathy and insight into exploring life’s deepest questions. Clients gain confidence and a sense of improved well-being by coming to understand themselves in a comfortable therapeutic setting. I work with diverse populations and clients beginning at young adulthood.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe wholeheartedly in empowering and enhancing one's capacity to address your own needs. You have the power and expertise within; it is a matter of finding a way to maximize it.
