I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a background in inpatient care, including working with individuals in crisis and navigating complex mental health situations. I am now building an outpatient practice where I can offer consistent, ongoing support. Prescribing is central to my work, and I approach it thoughtfully, always looking for what will genuinely help each person over the long term. I am committed to being a steady, reliable presence for my clients as they work toward their goals.

I am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist who is also mindful of the emotions we feel as humans. I believe therapy is holistic—mind, body, and well-being. My goal is to create a safe and judgment-free place to help guide and support you. I was previously an elementary school teacher. I am neurodivergent and enjoy working with the neurodivergent population.

My work is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the understanding that people are more than a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms. I bring both professional experience and lived understanding to this work, including my background as a military veteran and my own experiences with grief, change, identity, and rebuilding.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker serving adults in Massachusetts, Maine, and Washington. My education and clinical training are grounded in social work, trauma-informed care, and whole-person approaches to emotional well-being. I am also continuing my education in behavioral health leadership and organizational psychology, with a particular interest in how our relationships, communities, identities, and environments influence healing.

I work primarily with LGBTQIA+ adults, veterans, men, and people whose identities, relationships, or life experiences have not always fit comfortably within traditional expectations. My treatment areas include trauma and shame, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, burnout, identity exploration, major life transitions, men’s mental health, military and veteran experiences, and religious or cultural shame. I also provide kink-affirming and polyamory/ethical non-monogamy-affirming care.

I'm a Palestinian/Iraqi immigrant woman that grew up Muslim in America. I provide culturally responsive therapy for immigrant women or children of immigrants, but I also have a variety of clients from all walks of life.

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from Boston College. (My first Master's Degree was in Education from Rutgers University - which means I also do a lot of psychoeducation in my sessions!) I've worked with students with disabilities, in college counseling centers, in group practices, and now I have my own private practice.

Prior to being a therapist, I worked in higher education with college students for thirteen years.
