You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel aligned with who you are. Many of my clients are insightful, sensitive, and capable, yet struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment wounds, ADHD, or relationship challenges. You may be used to caring for others, masking your needs, or pushing through instead of feeling supported. You’re looking for therapy that feels safe, real, and validating — not judgmental or distant — and you want to better understand yourself, your emotions, and your relationships.
I offer relational, trauma-informed therapy grounded in attachment-based and emotionally focused approaches. I work collaboratively to help clients understand emotional and relational patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and build self-trust and healthier connections. My practice is affirming of neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ identities.
Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical. I offer a supportive, honest, and affirming space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationships, identity, or emotional overwhelm, you deserve therapy that feels human, safe, and respectful of who you are.

I bring over 15 years of experience in social work, mental health, and human services, working with individuals, teens, families, and couples across community, healthcare, and correctional settings. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship concerns, substance use, and re-entry after incarceration. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based, helping clients build resilience, gain insight, and create meaningful change in their lives.
We all need connection, community, and the ability to be our authentic selves in order to thrive. Many of us are not provided these attachment needs in childhood, and we grow into adulthood burdened by this wounding, unsure of how to relate safely and from a place of wholeness. If you struggle to align your inner and outer worlds, find yourself repeating difficult relational patterns, or feel as if your authentic self must remain hidden, I would love to work with you. I am particularly interested in supporting the health of queer families and cooperatives.

I have experience with many mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, and personality disorders. Factors to Consider When Choosing a Postpartum Therapist in Boston
Finding postpartum therapists in Boston starts with knowing what kind of support fits your needs. Postpartum concerns can include postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, birth-related stress, identity shifts, and relationship strain. Some people also search for a prenatal depression therapist or perinatal therapists who work with mental health concerns during pregnancy and after birth. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties match what you want to address. A PMH-C credential can also signal specialized training in perinatal mental health.
Boston has many therapists across neighborhoods like Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Dorchester, and Jamaica Plain, which can make the search feel broad even when options are nearby. For new parents, practical details matter: appointment times, virtual availability, location, and whether the therapist is accepting new clients. Virtual care can make it easier to meet from home around infant care, physical recovery, and changing schedules. Reading therapist bios can help you understand their experience with postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, pregnancy-related concerns, and the way they structure sessions before you book.
Therapy in Boston can be a significant cost without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand what you may pay before care begins. Headway helps you find postpartum therapists, review real-time availability, and book care directly. You can enter your insurance details to confirm what coverage is available for your specific plan. You can enter your insurance details to see estimated out-of-pocket costs, review therapist profiles, and book a free phone consultation when you’re ready.
