A few things about me outside of therapy: I have three children, so I understand that life can be beautifully chaotic. I’m a real person, not a therapist robot. I’ll bring authenticity into our work together.
I work with adolescents and adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and family challenges, grief, and major life transitions. Most importantly, you don’t have to impress me. You don’t have to have the perfect answers or know exactly what you want to say. Therapy can be a place to better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns that may be getting in your way, and develop healthier ways to move forward. Come as you are, and we’ll navigate the hard stuff together.
I’m a licensed therapist with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health. I trained at Goddard College, earned my doctorate in public health from Tulane University, and am licensed to practice in both Maine and Vermont.
I work with individuals navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and life challenges. My approach is grounded in an existential perspective, which means I help clients explore questions of meaning, identity, connection, and how their environments shape their wellbeing. I believe that even healthy people can become symptomatic in unhealthy environments, and I work collaboratively with clients to better understand their experiences, build insight, and move toward lives that feel more authentic and sustainable.
My goal is to offer a thoughtful, supportive space where clients can reflect, heal, and make meaningful change.
Hi there, I'm Rebecca. Do you feel drained and overwhelmed with life at times? The world we live in today so many natural human experiences have become so overwhelming. Whether it is anxiety, depression, grief, loss, relationships, or substance use disorder, I would like to walk along the path with you.
My full name is Kathleen, but my friends, colleagues, and clients call me Kat. Prior to completing my Masters of Science in Nursing through Walden University and achieving my Board Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in 2021, I worked at the bedside for 20 years as a Registered Nurse in a variety of care settings that included long term care, home care, ambulatory inpatient care for medically supervised management of a variety of withdrawal syndromes related to substance use disorders, and most recently as a critical care nurse in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), both before and during the COVID pandemic. Throughout my bedside career, the inherent connection between mental and physical health has always been apparent to me, and working with people that struggle with substance use disorder helped me in making my decision to become a psychiatric specialized provider. I am passionate about psychiatry and assisting people in optimizing their mental health.
I have been working in the mental health field for over 13 years in various roles. I have worked with individuals of all ages, stages, and experiences of the world. I especially feel equipped to work with people with substance use and chronic illnesses. Life is tough and feeling heard is tougher. My job is to support someone in reaching their goals.
I enjoy working with people who would like to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to their perceptions along with past and current experiences.
I focus my work on building a therapeutic relationship to support someone to work towards their goals.
Cub Larkin is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (FL & MA), and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (IL, ME, OR). Cub specializes in working with clients who identify as LGBTQIA+. You've done the work to get sober. But some things are still coming up. I help people in recovery who got sober but still feel something unresolved finally process what's underneath so recovery feels complete. You've worked the steps, rebuilt your life, and yet there's something underneath that hasn't shifted. Maybe it's stuff from before the drinking started, or things that happened during. I use EMDR to help process what's stuck in the nervous system so recovery can feel complete. We'll work with your program yet reach what talk therapy and stepwork can't fully resolve. I've got 22 years sober and in recovery myself, so I get it.
I am a board certified Family, Geriatric, and Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner with additional certifications in Substance Use Disorders, Menopausal Hormone Therapy and Integrative Psychiatry. Currently, my practice is solely focused on Women's Issues.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. I work with clients to explore the patterns, experiences, and emotions that shape their lives, while creating a space where they can safely express themselves without judgment. People often come to me when they’re feeling stuck — in relationships, in their sense of self, or in old cycles that no longer serve them. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and build practical tools for meaningful change.
