Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming. I aim to create a safe, collaborative, and grounded space from the beginning. I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges. I also specialize in complex and developmental trauma.
I support clients in integrating their spiritual and cultural values into therapy when desired and clinically appropriate. I was born in New Orleans and bring a culturally informed perspective shaped by my Latina, Indigenous, Christian, and Sephardic Jewish backgrounds.
I became a therapist because I have a deep commitment to helping people recognize and build their own strengths, especially during periods of feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. I understand that seeking support takes courage, and I work to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported throughout the process.
I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) and PhD from Tulane University, as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Louisiana and Texas, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Minnesota. I also hold a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Prevention Professional (LPP), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).
With over thirteen years of experience in the field, I bring a depth of knowledge and a steady, grounded presence to every session. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and one of only eight Certified DBT Specialists (C-DBT) in the state of Louisiana. I received my DBT training at a VA hospital, where I had the privilege of working closely with veterans and developing a strong foundation in trauma-informed care.
Throughout my career, I have worked across all levels of care, from crisis settings to outpatient therapy, and that range has made me a confident, compassionate guide for clients navigating emotionally intense situations. I am also a Certified Trauma Specialist, and my work spans adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing challenges like trauma and PTSD, borderline personality disorder, mood disorders, addiction, self-harm, and eating disorders. I believe deeply that recovery is possible and that renewed hope is always within reach.
I provide a safe, supportive space for individuals. We negotiate together how to optimize your experience of living life, your relationships, your work, and we continue to build on that. I believe that we all have the capacity to heal and build the life that we want to live.
I also train and supervise associate level counselors in the states of Washington and Louisiana.
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Mental Health nursing. I believe mental health care should feel personal, supportive, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I bring extensive nursing and mental health experience to my practice and work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, sleep difficulties, and other mental health challenges. I believe you are more than a diagnosis, and I take the time to understand the whole person behind the symptoms. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs.
I’m Dr. Kashon Corley, and I believe my purpose is to help people remember that even in life’s hardest moments, they never have to walk alone - we move through the journey together until the better and best days come. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals who want a counselor that truly sees and hears them as they are. My work centers on encouraging people to live in their truth unapologetically and with confidence in their own growth.
Welcome! I’m Dr. Niesha W. Collor, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who believes that therapy should be a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and begin creating meaningful change.
With a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and experience working with individuals navigating mental health concerns, trauma, addiction, recovery, life transitions, and emotional challenges, I approach counseling with compassion, understanding, and respect for each person’s unique story.
I believe you are more than the challenges you are facing. Your past may have influenced you, but it does not have to determine your future. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to walk alongside you as you gain insight, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen your relationships, and work toward the life you want.
My counseling approach incorporates evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and other approaches tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and recovery, self-esteem, relationships, or simply feeling stuck, you do not have to navigate it alone.
Therapy is your space. Your story matters. Your healing matters. And your next chapter can look different from your last.
I look forward to creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, authenticity, and respect as we work together toward your goals.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe that mental health support should feel conversational and welcoming. Taking the first step toward seeking help can be uncomfortable, and I strive to create an environment where adolescents and young adults feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their time with me.
With experience in inpatient care working with adolescents, as well as serving as a school social worker, I have supported young people through a variety of emotional and life challenges. My focus is on helping adolescents and young adults navigate grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and adjustment-related issues.
Starting therapy can be a big step, and you don’t have to do it alone. I believe everyone deserves a supportive space to be themselves and work through life’s challenges.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience helping adolescents, adults, and older adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, grief, life transitions, family conflict, serious mental illness, and developmental and intellectual disabilities. I’ve supported people facing both everyday stress and more complex mental health concerns.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about gaining insight, building resilience, and creating meaningful change at a pace that feels right. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need extra support, I’m here to help.
