When you've spent so much time trying to hold everything together, it's easy to lose sight of who you are beneath the anxiety, painful experiences, or expectations placed on you by others. Whether you're navigating trauma, relationship challenges, questions about identity, or simply feeling emotionally exhausted, you deserve a space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment. Meaningful healing is possible, and you don't have to go through it alone. I partner with clients experiencing anxiety, LGBTQIA+ concerns, women's issues, trauma, and PTSD so they can build confidence, strengthen relationships, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I work with adolescents, adults, and children because every person deserves to feel accepted, understood, and empowered.
I am a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 10+ years of experience. My concentration was originally in Mental Health and Addiction with a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I have additional training in Trauma Focused Behavioral Health, Specialized Treatment for Women of all ages including such areas as Post-partum Depression, and Intimate Partner Violence along with focused treatment for adolescents and adults with other mental health issues such as ADHD, and Anger.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have 5 years of experience as a School Social Worker. I graduated from Indiana University Northwest in 2021 with my master's degree. I am a therapist who believes people are stronger than they give themselves credit for. My passion is helping you find your strength and strategies to meet your goals. I keep things warm, supportive, and will never make you feel judged for what you bring to me. I am here to support you and help you navigate to where you want to be.
Outside of work, I run a small farm with pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and a garden, so my life involves a fair amount of dirt and a lot of animals with strong opinions. I also love to fish, woodwork, cook from scratch, and make soy candles. Being in nature is how I reset, and I am happy to talk about what helps you reset too.
A few things about me outside of therapy: I have three children, so I understand that life can be beautifully chaotic. I’m a real person, not a therapist robot. I’ll bring authenticity into our work together.
I work with adolescents and adults across a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and family challenges, grief, and major life transitions. Most importantly, you don’t have to impress me. You don’t have to have the perfect answers or know exactly what you want to say. Therapy can be a place to better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns that may be getting in your way, and develop healthier ways to move forward. Come as you are, and we’ll navigate the hard stuff together.
The degrees I have acquired are a BS and MS in Education k-12 and Counseling Education. Also a MA and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. I have applied these degrees over the past 35 years in Universities as a psychologist, program director and faculty. Also as a psychologist in Correctional Institutions and the Veteran Administration. The later work years has been as a recovery coordinator for "those who are seeking house" and a Community Mental Health therapist. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor across 3 states. Currently my focus in therapy is to assist adults 18- 90+ and couples in reestablishing life back toward the center of their fullest potential. I do not do family therapy.
I am a licensed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner dedicated to serving my community. I enjoy connecting with my patients and working together to find the best treatment for them!
You're here because something needs to change, and that takes courage. I'm Jennifer, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 17 years of experience working with individuals, teens, and families across Florida and Indiana. I specialize in maternal mental health, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use. I don't do cookie-cutter therapy — I adapt to you, your pace, and your life.
I use a four- fold approach to treating beyond traditional psychotherapy to help you on your journey. I have PhD in Clinical psychology, two master's degree (one in community counseling, one in community psychology). I also have a degree in Addictions and one in business management. Having worked every level of care from an inpatient hospital setting, residential long-term care, in a jail, a prison, out-patient levels for intensive three times per week to one time per week and taught in two universities. I am working my favorite level of care on an out-patient setting. Training has been in addictions, mental health, couples and family systems. I have other specialties with chronic pain and nutrition/bariatrics and obesity and available to provide medical and court evaluations with limited testing. I see children from 12 and up and adults/geriatrics.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in private practice since 2020. Beforehand, I worked in Chicago schools as a school social worker and paraprofessional. In my practice I focus on helping individuals throughout the lifespan who are looking for healing from trauma, and help managing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
I’m a bilingual (English + Spanish) board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a creative, client-centered approach. I blend multi-modality therapy with medication management to support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Before entering mental health, I worked as a global photojournalist, capturing stories across continents — a career that sharpened my empathy and deepened my understanding of the human experience. Mental health is personal for me. I lost my brother to untreated illness, and I carry that with me in how I show up for my clients. I don’t believe your life has to be defined by the past or your circumstances. My goal is to help you move forward.
